Alzheimer's Disease Research Study
A clinical research study is now underway for people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. This study will see if the investigational drug being tested works and is safe when taken by those with Alzheimer's disease who also take
donepezil (also known as Aricept).
The person you care for may be able to take part in this study if he or she:
- Is 50 to 85 years old.
- Has been diagnosed with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease
- Has been taking donepezil (Aricept) for at least 6 months, with a stable dose of 5 or 10 mg/day for at least the past 2 months
-Has a regular caregiver (you or another person who cares for him or her) who can go to all study visits and check on him or her daily
Study participation lasts about 8 months and includes 10 visits to the study doctor.

Home-Based Assessment Study
This study is a nationwide research study to evaluate home-based assessment methods for memory protection research in people over 75 years old.
You may qualify if you:
- Are age 75 or older
- Are fluent in English
- Are able to live independently
- have normal mental function
- Are willing to take multi-vitamins provided by the study
- Are able to answer and dial a telephone, have access to secure mail, posess minimal computer skills or a willingness to learn

Parkinson's Disease Research Study
Currently, physicians are conducting research to better understand how different Parkinson's Disease medications influence mood and other non-motor Parkinson's Disease complications.
You may qualify if you:
- Are age 30-80
- Have been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease
- Are currently taking carbidopa/levadopa 3-6 times a day for at least one month
- Have Parkinson's-related moodiness, anziety or depression, slowness of thinking, or pain/aching

Parkinson's Disease with Dementia
Currently, physicians are conducting a clinical reserch study comparing two already approved medications in their ablility to help relieve symptoms in patients with Parkinson's disease Dementia.
You may qualify if you:
- Are age 50-85
- Have been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease for two years or more
- Have recently experienced dementia or memory symptoms
- Have a caregiver willing to participate in the study
